The company was founded in 1968 and initially was involved in the selling of photographic equipment and its accessories in the retail market. A few years later, it shifted to the motion picture and television markets and it evolved in a leading company in this specialized market.

Today Calavitis S.A. satisfies all the growing needs of its clients, including the fields of production and system integration. Having a core team for experienced technicians, engineers and consultants, Calavitis can provide turn key solutions.

The company considers the after sales support an integral and very important aspect in all the products it provides. For this reason there are engineers on call to provide any assistance that might be needed through the Customer Service Line program, which provides 16hrs a day 7 days telephone support. In the case that telephone support is not enough a visit is immediately arranged depending on the severity of the issue at the clients' premises.

Technical support is also provided by the service department which is equipped with a large array og equipment, and spare parts.

The company continues to import and provide to the market high end equipment and services to both Greece and Cyprus.
